This is one of my favorites. I love this idea of a face looking into the
darkness. Its a theme I have returned to again and again, each time taking
it in a slightly different direction. But this one was the first one. My
original idea for this image was something along the lines of a creepy ultra
sound picture.
Here, I think the face is afraid, yet evil looking at the same time, so
while we can't really identify with it, we can at least acknowledge that
we've all been in the same predicament ...alone in the dark, and staring
